You prefer enemies who welcome you with their highest enthusiasm(Dark Rogues), not those passively waiting for you to salute first(Zombies). 
You may not have Teleport, so you need areas where you can access via way points
I prefer: No backtrack, no tough enemies, no dungeons. You must keep your MF as low as possible. Just to make sure, you want to keep Unique, Champion(if Super Unique as well, better) and bosos in the range of mlvl, so area level can only be (rule 2, 3), and you don't farm Blood Raven, she is out of this range(43). You don't want to go to alvl > 40 as it can drop >4os Sword (rule 4). You can only farm in NM, not in Normal Cow level (rule 1). For Crystal Sword, from item lvl 26-40, it can have up to 4os, >40: 6os. In NM and Hell, mlvl = area lvl, while Unique is alvl+2, Champion alvl+3, Super Uniques and Boss have their own levels table. Normal game only drop up to 3os item, NM: 4, Hell: 6. 
> Cold plain waypoint, and go to The Cave, all the way down to lvl 2 kill Coldcrow > Burial Ground, skip Blood Raven, only go Crypt till killing Bonebreaker Mausoleum has no super unique so skip > Stony Field(Rakanishu only don't go in to Tristram, as champions there > 40)
